William Choo

My name is William. I came from Singapore. I have been attending church since I was a young child. I was also a member of the Singapore Air forces – a combat aircraft mechanic. My jobs were to fix and maintain aircraft.

In 1987, my wife and I immigrated to Toronto from Singapore. I have only one son, who will turn sixteen in September 2004. I give thanks to God for his never-ending grace.

Currently, I am working at a Japanese manufacturer of automotive parts as a quality supervisor.

I began attending the Richmond Hill Chinese Community Church (RHCCC) since 1999. I have been serving in the mandarin choir. An unanticipated opportunity brought me into this music band, The Pelicans. Although I came from a background where music is nowhere to be found, the music of this band has attracted me. Again, I give thanks to God for allowing me to worship Him through music.
